If you are someone who is considering becoming a vegan or adopting a more flexitarian approach to your diet, the great news is that the food industry has started adapting to the rise in popularity of veganism. While a few years ago, vegan food was generally unheard of on the shelves of supermarkets, and there were just a select few niche manufacturers and retailers who were stocking vegan items. Now, vegan items are made by many major food supply companies. Retailers have started to launch entire sections within their stores to accommodate the new foods.
