With the summer months fast approaching here in Australia, it’s time to start thinking about all those incredible garden renovations you have been dying to do. Whether it’s renovating the whole garden or adding a few personal touches, the time to grab the gardening gloves and shovel is almost here!

As we know it can be hard to know where to begin when it comes to renovating your garden, we thought we’d share 5 different ways you can spruce up your garden during the summer months:

If you don't have much experience when it comes to gardening bit you're dying to get green fingers, then starting your own vegetable and herb patch could be a great way to learn.

There are lots of handy guides online to help you get started - so grab your shovel and your gardening gloves and start creating your first ever herb garden!


2.  Add A Stepping Stone Path From One End To The Other

For an easy garden DIY project, try creating a walkway from one side to the other using stepping stones (or wooden panels). Stepping stones are widely available in any garden centre and once you’ve bought them, the rest is easy as long as you make sure you take care of soil disposal.

5.  Spruce Up Your Garden With Some Gorgeous Solar Powered Lights

If you spend a lot of time in your garden when it’s dark, try adding a little bit of magic with some solar powered lights. As they charge throughout the long days, there will be plenty of power to last as you sit outside enjoying the peaceful nights. Whether it be at a garden party, a barbeque or simply in your own comfort - lights can make a garden feel extra special.
