About International Skateboarders Union
ISU™ was formed by skateboarders for skateboarders to support skating. Their team has worked in most areas of skateboarding around the globe for most of their lives. It is this experience that they now offer as a collective.
The group’s life experiences in skateboarding led them to a point at which they feel skateboarding does not need controlling, but instead benefits from support; ISU has been formed to be this support system. ISU’s primary focus is competitions; skateboard competitions happen all around the world in all styles of skating in very level of riding. The ISU tier system for skateboarding competitions supports skating at each of these levels and the levels were created in such a way to allow competitors and organizers a clear and understandable system. ISU’s motto is to be inclusive rather than exclusive. ISU can help with competition, development, management, promotion, judging, and ranking. They also provide advice and guidance to other event organizers and promoters, all in the interest of the long term benefit of skateboarding.
