Damn Am LA 2015

Last  weekend, the Damn Am Los Angeles, the first stop in the 2015 Damn Am Select Series, presented by Nike SB, in conjunction with SkatePark of Tampa, went down at Lincoln Skatepark in Los Angeles, California, the cradle of skateboarding.

Dashawn Jordan, who recently took the Best Trick title at the venerable Phoenix Am, won the contest in Los Angeles with his deep bag of tricks, versatility, and consistency. Jordan destroyed the rail, the centerpiece of the big stair set, lacing up insane combinations of tricks. Jordan’s win locks him in for a trip to this year’s Tampa Am and a guaranteed spot in the Tampa Am semi-finals.

The top 12 in Damn Am LA and the other Damn Am contests qualify for Tampa Am.

Micky Papa, a strong contender in the Am skateboarding circuit is getting his due, and took the second spot on the podium, with Ivan Monteiro in third.
