Voodoo Jam

New Orleans, LA, USA (Aug 3, 2014) Flatland BMX returned in all of its glory to the Crescent City for the Voodoo Jam. The contest, the biggest international BMX Flatland event in the USA, was celebrating its 10th anniversary and the riding was completely insane, as always. Organizer Scott O’Brien combined his love of BMX Flatland, dedication and perhaps a bit of voodoo to create one of the world’s best Flatland BMX contests. The contest, held in a nightclub, Generations Hall, is the embodiment of the BMX Flatland experience: DJs, music, the vibe, and of course, hypnotic, powerful, kinetic athleticism of BMX Flat.

The top 12 riders eventually battled their way down to three finalists, for an amazing three-man battle between Viki Gomez, Jean-William Prevost, and Yohei Uchino to go down in history. When the dust settled and time was up, Uchino took the win.Last year’s winner, Tsutomu Kitayama, won Best Trick.
