Sony's Action Cam Goes on the Road with Birdhouse Skateboards

The annual Birdhouse Summer Tour kicks off August 11 at Ollie’s Skatepark in Cincinnati, Ohio, gives fans the opportunity to see some of the best that skateboarding has to offer and demos Sony’s Action Cam AS100V camera.
“I’m thankful that ActionCam is on board to support this year’s Birdhouse Tour,” said Tony Hawk, “I’ve been impressed with everything I’ve seen from the camera so far, and I’m excited to put them to the ultimate test on the road with our team.”
The Birdhouse lineup on tour includes skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki, Ben Raybourne, Clint Walker, David Loy, Kevin Staab, Willy Santos, Clive Dixon, Mike Davis, Shawn Hale, and Shaun Gregoire. The Action Cam AS100V will be used to capture high-quality POV footage of their journey through some of the best parks in the Midwestern USA.

The Birdhouse crew will be traveling in a caravan of MINI vehicles, another tour partner, documenting their skating and time on the road will be captured on video and social media, so check the Ride Channel for updates.
