The Hurley Australian Open of Surfing was held Feb 7-15, 2015 at iconic Manly Beach, Sidney Australia. The event had music, surfing and of course, skateboarding at the Hurley Beach Bowl on Manly Beach beginning February 11 and culminating in the exciting finals on Sunday, February 15.
Jono Schwan, who came in ninth last year, took the top spot. He killed it the whole contest and was unstoppable in the finals, dialing in lots of 540 variations and a couple of 720s. Alex Sorgente, fresh off his win at the Australian Bowl Riders Championships, came in second, and last year’s winner, Pedro Barros came in third. Bruno Passos came in first in the Masters division.
