FISE Action Sports World Series Champs Results for 2014

Right before the Christmas holiday, Dec 18-20, the final event in the FISE (Festival International Sports Extrème) tour for 2014 was held in Langkawi, Malaysia to decide the FISE World Series Champ in BMX Freestyle, Roller, and Skateboarding. The First FISE World Series champion title in BMX freestyle went to Daniel Dhers (VEN). Dhers had competed in each FISE contest all year, finishing second in Montpellier, first place in Andorra, second place in Chengdu, China, and fourth in the Malaysia contest. His consistency throughout the series helped to put him in the top spot at the year end. Julien Bechet took the title in skateboarding and Stephane Alfano won the roller/inline title.

About FISE
The International Extreme Sports Festival was created in 1997 by Hervé André-Benoit while he was still a student at Montpellier Business School. It has grown into an international phenomenon, attracting thousands of fans, connecting action sports athletes and fans throughout the world. FISE includes contests in skateboarding, BMX, mountain bike, wake and roller/inline.
SFR FISE Xperience, going into its ninth year, is a series of six contests in various cities in France, where competitors in skateboarding, roller/inline, BMX, and mountain bike earn points, accumulating them throughout the series. Athletes have the opportunity to earn prize money and sponsorship.
