Aspen/Snowmass, Colo., – July 21, 2014 – Here’s the latest edit from Bike Snowmass which takes viewers through a full bike season – summer to fall – featuring Team Aspen Snowmass athletes Max Taam, Pete Gaston and other accomplished bike athletes from the Roaring Fork Valley. This is an overview into the cross country and downhill biking trails that make up Bike Snowmass.  

Bike Snowmass is the only lift served biking in the US that takes riders on a 4,000-foot single track decent beginning above tree line and ending in the high mountain sage. The network of new and existing trails is home to the most vertical feet of riding in Colorado and over 50 miles of singletrack, cross-country, freeride and downhill terrain showcased by Vital Films.

The signature trail - Valhalla - features 2.75 miles of freeride terrain and more than 1,400 feet of vertical drop. This trail begins at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola and descends to Snowmass Base Village and features berms, jumps, bridges, table tops, a wall ride, drop zone and a fruit bowl. In addition to Valhalla, Easy Rider offers 2.7 miles of gentle, open, rolling terrain.  that takes riders from the top of Elk Camp Gondola down to Snowmass Base Village through evergreen forests, Aspen trees and wide-open meadows.
