Water Mill, NY – Award-winning Hamptons radio personality Walker Vreeland is proud to announce the launch of his highly anticipated radio show Interview with the Artist . Featuring conversations with an impressive roster of artists from all facets of the entertainment industry and beyond, the series invites its guests to reflect on their lives, the evolution of their careers, their creative process, and world view. Vreeland brings his signature interviewing style to the proceedings, infusing his unique brand of humor and commitment to honest and illuminating dialogue. Vreeland seeks to let listeners in on a more intimate, surprisingly frank exchange with a wide variety of household names – going far beyond the typical celebrity interview.

Of his new endeavor, Vreeland – a former actor himself who serves as both Executive Producer and Host – muses: “I really think of myself as a conversationalist rather than an interviewer – because that’s what I’m trying to do. I want to create an honest conversation between creative people. The best interviews are the ones where sparks are flying…and discoveries are being made.”

Thus far, Interview with the Artist has included conversations with Cyndi Lauper, Cheech Marin, Roberta Flack, Sandra Bernhard, Jane Krakowski and Mario Cantone, who had this to say about Vreeland: “Insightful, candid, and a great listener. With seemingly nothing planned, Walker Vreeland instinctively knows how to bring out the best in his guests!” Guest Linda Fairstein – best-selling author and former prosecutor – had this to say: “Walker Vreeland is a master of the interview. He knows his subject and has done his homework – so the conversation is smart and lively.”

Interview with the Artist is available in a variety of formats. Listeners from across the globe can download the show as a podcast at iTunes , Stitcher , SoundCloud , Spreaker or TuneIn . Local listeners on the East End of Long Island and Southern Connecticut can tune in to 102.5 WBAZ-FM on Sunday evenings at 7pm. All episodes can also be found in a full archive at interviewwiththeartist.com
