DamnAm Portugal
The Volcom Damn Am Portugal was held at the picturesque Parque de Geraçoes on July 17-19, 2014 in Casais, Portugal. Volcom, in association with the SkatePark of Tampa  moved the Damn Am, the premiere amatuer skateboard competition, to Portugal for the European contest  since the Skatepark of Amsterdam closed. Nassim Guammaz, who took first in last year’s Amsterdamn Am, took the win in Portugal, sharing the podium with two Norwegian riders, Hermann Stene and Gard Hvaara.

The weekend began with about 150 skaters, and after the qualifiers, whittled down to 30 that advanced; the top 28 went to semi-finals, and two skaters went directly to the finals with Golden Tickets.

Twelve skaters survived to make it to the finals, and customary for all Damn Am events, they all earned spots in the prestigious  International Finals at the Tampa Am in Tampa Florida (USA), with the top two finishers, Guammaz and Stene, going straight to the Tampa Am finals.
