When it comes to planning a vacation, Ohio is not a location that is necessarily at the top of most travelers’ lists. The state adopted the slogan “Ohio, the heart of it all” in 1984 in efforts to draw visitors to the state. After seeing a marginal decline in tourism, in the early 2000s, the state changed its slogan to “Ohio, so much to discover” to reawaken the state as an attraction to would-be vacationers around the country. Let’s take a closer look at some of the reasons why your next trip should be to the Buckeye State.
